Boutique ethique has its roots in both ethical consumerism and the Arts and Crafts movement.
Local artists and craftspeople are employed to produce buttons and accessories.
The Autumn collection uses organic British tweeds and O-wool organic wool jersey.
These are teamed with silks that are dyed with smokey colours, combinations of madder,cutch and logwood. These are traditional dyes which were used by William Morris.
There is a Samurai feel to the outerwear, sculptured outlines with pleated front panels and as an homage to Chanel, necklaces incorporated into the silk tops.
One new fabric to be included this season is an organic silk jersey, beautifully soft and sumptuous.
